 NOURISHMENT 

WHAT TO EAT

  • Everything you put in you should be love and light, and you should grow and cook everything you can or go raw. It needs to have your love and energy go into it. Anyone can sprout seeds and have indoor garden towers. You should only digest sattvic, high-vibrational and alive food for spiritual connection and advanced healing.

  • Avoid low vibrational tamasic foods that suck the life from you and cause sickness and disease

    • ​old food

    • processed food

    • meat

    • dairy

    • mushrooms

    • overripe fruit and veggies

    • bread

    • alcohol.​

  • Avoid rajasic foods that imbalance our brain, disconnect us and harm our sleep

    • stimulants

    • caffeine

    • spices

    • onion

    • garlic

    • vinegar

  • I will let you decide if you wish to work in farm-fresh eggs or dairy. The best curd/yogurt is fresh and immediately fermented for four hours to overnight, depending on the temperature.​​​​​

TEST YOUR GUT

  • You send off a sample, which is the most accurate way to determine what foods are harmful, cause bloating, gas and more problems

WHEN TO EAT

  • Intermittent fasting is necessary daily to heal the body and live long. Along with the overwhelming evidence, I and those with great awareness will tell you just how destructive it is to eat three meals a day. Even Vedic and yogic cultures agree that two meals are best.

  • Now, the time you should eat these meals and how far apart you should space them can vary from person to person. I recommend not eating for the first hour or two after waking and eating the second meal either four or six hours after the first.

​

  • Snacks between meals are extremely foolish because they keep your body in a digesting mode, wear it down, and require a lot of energy. If you must, eat fruit because it digests quickly.

​​

  • The goal is not to eat or have food in your system digesting while you sleep. So, not eating after 2 p.m. is best. But if you have low blood pressure, like I do, you may need to push the meal a little later and have a larger gap between them or your low blood pressure may disturb your sleep in the morning. Some recommend eating some honey or MCT oil before bed, but I find it keeps me up. Currently, I am eating at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

  • The most important thing to do after eating is walking, yoga or exercising to help with digestion, blood sugar regulation and your energy.​​​​

HOW TO EAT

  • Eat the food immediately after cooking it (or within 2 hours)

​​

  • Sit in lotus position (cross-legged) to properly welcome the food

​​​

  • Say a prayer or minimally give thanks and have much appreciation and gratitude for what is in front of you and how it got there

​​​

  • Use your hands to connect with and put the food in your mouth

​​​

  • You must chew the food many, many times. Digestion starts in the mouth

​​​

  • Do not drink lots of water, it may dilute your stomach acid and hurt digestion​​
